Why silver? Sometimes the biker prefers jewelry that looks like the chrome on their motorcycle. Silver also does not age like gold does where constant exposure to the elements can cause it to fade. Silver is also more durable than gold. There are many reasons they turn to silver. As many reasons as why they turn to the open road. But whatever their reasons the fact is that silver jewelry on a biker is as natural as leather on the seat and chrome on the exhaust. It is all part of the culture and the only difference is the meanings behind the jewelry.
